With reference to your letter No.1417/1919 deted the 10th August, 1920, addressed to the D.A.A.& Q.M.G., I am directed to inform you that no reply has as yet been received from the War Office to the report forwarded by the Officer Commanding the Forces in China on the 12th May, 1920, which report he referred to in his letter to His Excellency the Governor, No.D/4096 of the 11th May, 1920.
I am also directed to forward a copy of this
report for His Excellency's information.
